Effective 1 October 2026, foreign visitors entering Mainland Tanzania will be required to hold valid Inbound Travel Insurance. This requirement applies to entry through airports, seaports and land borders. The mandatory Inbound Travel Insurance is provided by the National Insurance Corporation of Tanzania Limited (NIC).
